What OffDorm is
OffDorm is a listings website that helps students compare off-campus housing. We are not a landlord, real estate broker, or agent. We don't own or manage any listed property, we aren't part of any lease, and we don't charge fees per lease or per tenant.
Listings and estimates
- Listings marked “Sample” are examples and are not real places, landlords, or prices.
- Landlords supply their own listing details. We don't inspect properties or verify every detail. Always visit a place and read the lease before you sign or pay anything.
- True monthly cost uses estimated utilities, and walk times are approximate. Your actual costs and times may differ.
- The budget check is a general rule of thumb, not financial advice.
Sponsored content
Some listings and businesses may pay to be shown more prominently. Paid placements are always labeled “Sponsored” or “Featured.”
Rules for landlords
- Listings must be accurate, current, and for a real, available place.
- Listings must follow the federal Fair Housing Act and state and local fair housing laws. They may not state a preference, limitation, or discrimination based on a protected class.
- We may edit, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion.
Using the site
Don't misuse OffDorm. For example, don't post false or misleading listings, scrape the site, or try to break or overload it.
No guarantees
